Who Can Become a Member or the “World for Culture and Peace” Foundation?

Legal entities and natural persons along with legally capable partnerships that actively support and participate in the activities performed by the Foundation.


Rights and Obligations of Members

• Members of the Foundation have the right to take part in all meetings and events of the Foundation and use its facilities in accordance with the goals and principles of the Foundation.
• The right to vote at the General Assemblies and the active and passive voting-right are held by ordinary and honorary members only.
• Every member has the right to demand a copy of Foundation’s Statutes from the Board of Directors
• At least one tenth of the members has the right to approach the Board of Directors with the demand for a General Assembly.
• The Board of Directors shall inform the members about the activities of the Foundation and the conduction of financial affairs. If at least one tenth of the total number of members demand such information, be it within the frame-work of a General Assembly of without it, the Board of Directors shall provide such information within 4 weeks after the date when request was brought-forth
• Members have the right to obtain the information on audited summary account. In case such information is provided in the framework of the General Assembly, auditors shall be brought in.
• Members of the Foundation shall support the interests of the Foundation and provide all support possible for reaching the goals of the Foundation. Members will refrain from all activities that may interfere with the Foundation’s goals or may be detrimental to the Foundation’s reputation.
• Members shall comply with the Foundation Statutes and decisions carried out by executive authorities of the Foundation.
• Ordinary and Extraordinary members agree to pay the access-fees and membership fees on a timely basis. The amounts of the fees shall be decided upon by the general meeting.
